We have the new Teams software (You have Microsoft Teams version 23217.805.2326.4563.) However the notification lights do not seem to work correctly (at all) with this version of Teams. Thank You

I ran into this problem as well. My light no longer functions with Teams after an update to the new software.

I think this is because the new Teams client doesn't have the text log file to track activity state. Connecting to 365 works though there is a little more lag sometimes.

Is there a fix for new teams that people have figured out?

Update your Embrava Connect to latest version 5.3.0 from embrava.com/pages/softwareWhen you use Teams client-side integration in Connect software, it requires the following setting to be enabled in Teams Settings. Please ensure that the "Register Teams as the chat app for Office (requires restarting Office applications)" setting in Teams is enabled. If you are using the New Teams version, this setting will be displayed as "Register the new Teams as the chat app for Microsoft 365 (requires restarting Microsoft 365 applications)." This setting will automatically be disabled following a recent Office 365 or Teams update. It will also be disabled if the user's PC has both the older classic Teams and New Teams installed, and when the user switches between the New and Old Teams, the setting will turn off automatically. Therefore, if you find that the light is not working with Teams, you must ensure that this setting is turned on.

+1 Solved the issue, even in Windows 11. With New Teams. Had to "uncheck" then Recheck, if i switch Teams edition.

Finally worked for about 1 hours, now not even getting teh green light. Only ligts up in Diag, or identfy mode. Tried Restart Teams(New), tried re selecting Chat as default, un plugged, restarted Embrava.... Have to completely reboot to have it working for not very long. Even changing manualle Busy mode in Teams does not work.

Hi, We have examined the issue and identified a potential bug in the new Microsoft Teams application. We have already reported the issue to Microsoft via the feedback channel. Our application is designed to receive presence status updates from Microsoft Teams. However, after a certain period, it ceases to receive these updates, causing the indicator light to become stuck on a single status. As a result, the light either fails to function or remains fixed on one status. We hope that Microsoft's future updates will rectify this problem. In the meantime, we are working on a client-side workaround. If successful, we will include this fix in a new release of Embrava Connect. To mitigate these issues, we have introduced an alternative, server-side integration for Teams. While we address the bug, you can use our server-side integration for Teams, which remains unaffected. Please consider using the Microsoft Teams server-side connection instead of the client-side connection. This option is available in the Manage Connections window of Embrava Connect. We provide a unique setup for our server-side integration with Microsoft Teams. For guidance, please refer to the Embrava Connect user guide, which is available at the following link: embrava.github.io/embrava/userguide/User%20Guide%20-%20Embrava%20Connect%20v5.2.4.pdfSpecifically, consult pages 45 and 46, Appendix F - Configuring Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Teams (server-side) connection. This one-time setup involves connecting your Microsoft Teams account to Embrava Connect through a sign-in process. If you have any concerns regarding this integration, we are ready to thoroughly explain the required permissions and the data our application will access. Thank You! Embrava Support

@embravasupport as stated above by you and others, the impaired client-side Teams functionality is due to a change not on the part of Embrava Connect but from Teams itself. However, Microsoft is highly unlikely to heed the report of whatever bug or functionality has been removed, and many of us got this device specifically to work in this capacity. In many cases, my own included, there is no way to get our organizations to approve a connection to our account on the server level, so simply recommending that is not enough, when for months on end it has worked.

FYI -
With the Microsoft Teams April Release, the bug has been solved! Your call status will be displayed automatically on Blynclight when using New Microsoft Teams.
In the April Release of Microsoft Teams (client version 24022924517 from the "About Teams" menu), your Blynclight Standard, Blynclight Mini, and Blynclight Plus will sync with and display your Teams status with no issue.
