Removed features in the 3.0 version

Hi

In the version 2.0 client there was the option to turn off actions by ticking off the boxes:



We have several users that use these options so I was sad to see them being taken away in the new version.
Because of the old client acting up on some installations, I would really like to just deploy the new version instead but I am unable too because of the missing options.

Any chance they will be added to a new release?

Which options are you hoping to apply?

I'm pretty sure the new release covers all the new options and more.

They are just configured per Activity now.

I am hoping to get the same options for turning off alerts, especially the "Flash on new IM" so the usual status just shows.
Any idea about the timeline for the new release?

You can configure Blync v3.0 to not flash on new IM by selecting 'No Flash' in the Flash Alert for the 'Incoming IM' Activity. You can also set the Light color to Available green if you would like no notification at all.

But if I set that, it will overwrite my actual presence. There is no option to not having a reacting to an event.
The No-color option turns of the light, what I actually need is a "transparent" color.

I.E if I set the following:

My light will simply turn off when I receive messages. If you see my first post, there was an option to simply turn off the event.

I see your point.. maybe a No Change option will do the trick..
