Blync 3.1 for Mac a step backwards?

After installing Blync 3.1 for Mac it appears that several things are missing/changed.

The Sign-In Address field is gone, replaced with Server Name field.
Auto discover does not work, and our end users do not know what the server name is.  This is a step backwards in our opinion.

There was an intermittent issue with the autodiscovery of a particular Lync Server 2013 configuration.

We had to role back this change for now. We are working on getting this solved immediately with a new release scheduled in 2 weeks.
