After reading the "Wall Mounted Blynclight" thread I thought I'd try popping the cover off my Blynclight Standard. No reason other than I wanted to. This probably isn't Embrava-approved and you're on your own doing it, but I've had mine for while and wanted to see the guts regardless.
Given the bright LED's in the base I starting thinking about alternatives to the standard cover, such as light tubes or fiber optic strands. I eventually hit upon the idea of a selenite stone. An $8 order to Amazon and 5 days later I now have a unique Blynclight topped with a 4" selenite 'tower' sitting on my desk.
