Yes, this is awesome and 100% necessary. By having this change status based on webcam activation you could makes this light work with every single video conferencing service on the planet in one shot. Add in the ability also to activate the light if certain programs are running or active would be nice as well. Like typing, microphone, etc. This would make the light work for nearly everyone at once.
